It was our pleasure to host a super special recent engagement party for the lovely Chloe & Nicholas.
Chloe & Nicholas chose the Elizabethan Lodge as the venue for their engagement party because they loved our private, magical urban oasis gardens. Our gardens are one of our best kept secrets & often surprise guests due to our location just 20 minutes from the city.
Chloe & Nicholas chose a playful, whimsical, candy coloured, luxe theme for their Summer engagement party.
Our gardens were in full bloom on the day and they loved the pink, yellow and purple flowers which matched beautifully with the candy coloured theme they chose for their event. Chloe & Nicholas chose to hang lots of votive candle holders & lanterns from the fairy lit trees in our garden, lending their cocktail hour a whimsical & playful feel.
Chloe & Nicholas chose our venue due to the luxurious gold tones of our ballroom & our new Tiffany chairs in gold, which was the perfect complement to the candy coloured vibrant look they were seeking for their celebration.
The mother of the bride to be accessorised our venue with paper fans & garlands by BHLDN, which looked amazing set against the backdrop of our fairy lit trees at the top of our ballroom.
Chloe’s closest friends were on hand to help with getting many glitter and confetti filled balloons by Poppies for Grace ready for the big day & Nicholas & the bride to be’s brothers did an amazing job of filling countless balloons themselves.
Chloe & Nicholas chose to customise our ballroom with lots of styling touches for their special event. Floretta by Grace was on hand to provide gorgeous trios of low lying arrangements colour blocked in pink, lemon & cornflower blue & a jaw dropping statement arrangement featuring hydrangea, peonies, david austin roses & more. The stunning arrangements were complimented by mixed votive candle holders, metallic table numbers & bunny table menu holders all by BHLDN and styled by the lovely Floretta by Grace.
Chloe & Nicholas worked with our team to create a signature cocktail for each of them, for their guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. Nicholas’ choice was a Negroni & Chloe’s cocktail was a Hendricks & Tonic.
The bride to be wore a dress by Alice + Olivia, with a quick shoe change with 2 pairs of shoes by Dune & Kurt Geiger, both with appliqué florals to match all of the interior flowers in our ballroom. The bride to be did her own hair on the day & dropped in to the nearby MAC Doncaster for a natural makeup look. The bride to be’s stunning candy coloured floral headpiece was by Floretta by Grace.
The bride & groom to be worked closely with us to customise their menu, with shared antipasti, seafood & dessert platters with a choice of 5 delicious sweets for their guests, all prepared by our team of chefs. The mother of the groom did an incredible job of preparing her special white chocolate rocky road as party favours for all of the guests and an epic candy coloured cupcake tower, topped with butterfly wafer toppers by Silvermisted.
The lovely couple made us of our in-house Photo Booth by Wonderland Wedding Hire with champagne glitter gold back drop for their special day.
DJ Kosta was on hand with a mix of contemporary RNB and traditional Greek music to reflect the bride & groom to be’s heritage. The bride to be designed all of their engagement party stationary with Vistaprint.
Gus of Gus Reyes Photography, a collaborator with our group of venues, was on hand to capture all the special moments during the celebration.
Chloe & Nicholas will host their upcoming wedding at one of our sister venues Tatra Receptions later on this year.
