We chose to have our wedding at the extremely beautiful Elizabethan Lodge and it was the most amazing venue for our ceremony and reception.
The whole wedding was perfect from the picturesque ceremony in the stunning chapel, beautiful and green gardens where we took all of our photos and the impeccably, elegant reception room! Having the ceremony, garden photos and reception all at the same venue made the day so much easier especially as we had overseas guests. We also were very lucky to spend our first night as a married couple in the lovely Bridal Suite at the venue.
Throughout the lead up to the wedding we found the staff to be very helpful, friendly and always available to answer questions, take us on tours or discuss our individual needs for the day. The staff also offered us recommendations on other wedding suppliers that they had worked with which helped us to plan other areas of the wedding. Our reception ran perfectly and was very memorable; the staff were very attentive throughout the whole night. They made sure everything was going to our plans and also that we were finding time to enjoy the food and drinks.
When planning the menu for our wedding Elizabethan Lodge were happy to meet special dietary requirements of our guests and we also benefited from having a free tasting of the menu. All of our guests commented about how amazing the food was on the night, everybody enjoyed all three meals and there was not any part of the food that could be faulted, the chef should be very proud of the dishes they produced. Enjoying such appetizing food on our wedding and having the guests comment on how delicious everything was made the evening even more memorable, knowing that the venue we had chosen had delivered on every aspect.
